Rustic Chocolate Bread Pudding

I made this dessert for a church dinner yesterday and it was wonderful! Creamy, rich, and perfect.

1/2 cup cream cheese
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 3/4 cup milk
6 cups cubed whole wheat bread
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Beat the cream cheese and brown sugar together, then add the egg whites. Beat till creamy. Add the cinnamon and milk, and continue mixing. Place the bread topped with the chocolate in an 8" baking dish and pour cream cheese mixture over. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Best served with cold milk or hot coffee.
